Nasarawa: PDP decries distortion of court proceedings by APC

The Nasarawa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has denounced media distortions in election petition reportage.

In a statement on Friday, chairman of the PDP in the state, Hon. Francis Orogu, criticised the manipulation of public opinion through what he described as fabricated narratives.

He expressed concern over the distortion of key witness testimonies in the ongoing governorship election petition in Lafia.

Orogu noted that this isn’t the first time such tactics have been employed by agents of the opposing All Progressives Congress (APC) and the state governor.

Orogu, however, stated that the PDP will not engage in responding to misleading claims disseminated through state propaganda outlets or biased social media channels.
