Serie A: Rudi Garcia’s Half-Time Scolding Inspires Victor Osimhen’s Stunning Performance Against Frosinone

In a thrilling match that saw Napoli emerge victorious with a 3-1 win against Frosinone on Saturday night, head coach Rudi Garcia revealed his decision to scold Victor Osimhen during halftime.

The talented Nigerian striker played a pivotal role in Napoli’s triumph at the Stadio Benito Stirpe, showcasing his prowess by netting two impressive goals.

Osimhen’s first goal was a breathtaking strike just three minutes before the halftime whistle. His second, a decisive contribution to the match, came eleven minutes before the final whistle.

Despite Osimhen’s outstanding performance, Garcia confided in an interview with DAZN that he felt compelled to reproach the young star during the halftime break.

“Offensively, Osimhen was excellent. He scored two goals, and there is nothing I can fault him for,” Garcia confessed. “However, defensively, I was not pleased with his performance, and I made sure to address this during the break. Osimhen used to press and defend with more intensity in the past. In the second half, we rectified this and played with greater quality.”
