Champions League draw: Michael Owen names group he’s interested in

Former Real Madrid and Manchester United striker, Michael Owen, has named the Champions League group he is interested in this season.

Media Talk Africa reports that this season’s Champions League draw was conducted on Thursday in Monaco, France.

Reigning champions Manchester City will begin the defence of their title in Group G where they face the likes of RB Leipzig, Red Star Belgrade and Young Boys.

Arsenal, who are back in the competition after six years, are in Group B with PSV, Lens and Sevilla.

However, in a tweet via his official X account (formerly Twitter), Owen said he would be glued to group F which comprises the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Newcastle, AC Milan and Dortmund.

“Going to be glued to Group F in The @ChampionsLeague with PSG, Dortmund, AC Milan and Newcastle facing each other,” Owen tweeted.

“Reigning champions @ManCity will be licking their lips with that draw.”
