EPL: Iwobi back in training at Fulham

Alex Iwobi has returned to training at Premier League club, Fulham, Media Talk Africa reports.

The Nigeria international linked up with the Cottagers from Everton on transfer deadline day.

The 27-year-old sustained a hamstring injury in his last game for Everton.

Iwobi trained with his new teammates for the first time on Tuesday after recovering fully from the injury.

The versatile midfielder is now in line to make his debut for Fulham against Luton Town this weekend.

Iwobi missed Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe because of the injury.

Calvin Bassey is the other Nigerian at Fulham.
