Wikki Tourists Manager Pleased with Players’ Performance in Friendly Matches

The head coach of Wikki Tourists, Mohammed Azeez, has expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance in their recent friendly matches.

An Opportunity to Assess Players

The Bauchi Elephants played two friendly matches during their training tour in Gombe, against Gombe United and Doma United, resulting in a goalless draw in both matches. This gave Azeez the chance to assess the players outside of their home ground.

Seeking Fan Support

Azeez also took the opportunity to appeal for the support of the fans in their efforts to secure promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League.

“I’m impressed with the performance of my players during the two-day tour in Gombe state,” Azeez stated in an interview with the club’s media. “It’s a significant opportunity for us to evaluate the players’ performance away from home.”

Looking Ahead

Wikki Tourists will be participating in the 2023-24 Nigeria National League, and Azeez is optimistic about their prospects.
