Singer Skales Receives Threats for Speaking Out Against EFCC Oppression

Renowned Nigerian singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, commonly known as Skales, has come forward to express that he is being subjected to threats due to his vocal stance against the actions of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Skales recently fell victim to what he describes as oppression at the hands of EFCC operatives.

In a recent incident, Skales disclosed that heavily armed EFCC operatives invaded his home, accusing him of fraudulent activities. He highlights that this occurrence, which took place in the presence of his wife and six-month-old daughter, caused him to experience a panic attack, given his ongoing health issues. Moreover, his producer was injured during the altercation with the EFCC operatives.

On Tuesday morning, Skales took to his social media handle to reveal that his life is now under threat as a result of speaking out about his ordeal with the EFCC. In a tweet, the ‘Shake Body’ crooner expressed, “I was just threatened for speaking out now.”
