Tupac Shakur: Jada Pinkett Smith Reveals He Was Her Soul Mate

American actress and talk show host, Jada Pinkett Smith, recently opened up about her deep connection with the late rapper, Tupac Shakur, referring to him as her soulmate. Despite being married to actor Will Smith for nearly two decades, Pinkett Smith confesses that her bond with Tupac was unique and profound.

In a candid interview with media personality Christal Jordan, Pinkett Smith clarified that the relationship with Tupac never crossed into romantic territory, as there was no romantic “chemistry” between them. Instead, their connection was built on a deep friendship and love.

Reflecting on their bond, Pinkett Smith said, “Tupac was my soulmate… If there’s such a thing as past lives, I definitely believe that Pac and I have shared a few together. However, it was simply impossible for us to transition beyond the friendship level. Our love was rooted in friendship and trust.”

Pinkett Smith also expressed her desire for people to understand the unique nature of their connection, stating, “I wish I could make people comprehend the profound nature of it. It was almost as if God designed us to be a dynamic duo, but not in a romantic sense. Our purpose was something else.”

It is worth noting that Pinkett Smith recently revealed in a preview for her upcoming NBC News primetime special with Hoda Kotb that she and her husband, Will Smith, have been living separately since 2016.
