Dele Momodu reveals why he’s not supporting APC

The publisher of Ovation magazine, Dele Momodu, has revealed why he made a U-turn on an initial move to support the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The former presidential aspirant and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been locked in social media battle with supporters of APC over his refusal to support Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government.

Momodu, in a recent post on X, slammed APC supporters, accusing them of being so obsessed with an interview where he said Tinubu gave him 500 pounds in London during his exile years.

He insisted that the gift was not meant to make him a perpetual slave, adding that he had paid back in thousand folds.

“I will support a government that appears very reasonable and sympathetic to the citizens of Nigeria,” he wrote on X on Wednesday evening.

“I could have supported APC in 2015 but saw the bad signals early that Buhari was leading us to Golgotha. APC is already astray less than six months now.”
