EFCC Denies Issuing Arrest Warrant on Loan Defaulters

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has vehemently refuted claims that it issued an arrest warrant on loan defaulters, debunking the circulating document titled “Arrest Warrant Processing”, “Loan Fraud Escalation”, and others. In an official statement released via its verified handle, the commission categorically affirmed that the said document did not originate from its esteemed organization.

With a resolute tone, the anti-graft body dismissed the claims and reassured the public that such actions were not within its purview. The EFCC asserted, “The attention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has been drawn to some contrived documents on ‘Arrest Warrant Processing’, ‘Loan Fraud Escalation’, and others, being circulated by some loan companies, purportedly issued by the Commission against loan defaulters.” Thus, the commission urges the general public to dismiss these unfounded allegations.
