Group Condemns Governor Lawal’s Call for President Tinubu’s Resignation

The Arewa APC Vanguard has strongly criticized Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, for his recent demand that President Bola Tinubu step down amidst allegations of certificate forgery currently being reviewed by the Supreme Court.

In a press statement released by Arewa APC Vanguard’s chairman, Jonathan Audu, the group expressed its outright disapproval of Governor Dauda Lawal’s actions, describing them as contemptuous of the judiciary, malicious, provocative, and ultimately destructive.

The Arewa APC Vanguard staunchly believes that President Bola Tinubu, who was elected by a wide margin of Nigerian citizens, should be afforded the opportunity to continue executing the impactful policies and initiatives he has championed to enhance the welfare and living conditions of the Nigerian masses.

Audu went on to portray Governor Dauda Lawal as an instrument of the former administration’s shadowy power brokers, intent on diverting President Tinubu’s focus away from his commendable endeavors. He stated, “We would like to take this moment to urge Governor Dauda to concentrate on fulfilling the promises he made to the displaced individuals of Zamfara. These individuals are currently enduring daily atrocities such as killings, kidnappings, and rapes at the hands of bloodthirsty bandits, a direct consequence of his consistently poor leadership.”

Furthermore, Audu advised the people of Zamfara State to remain resilient and rely on their faith, as their suffering will soon dissipate under the remarkable governance of President Bola Tinubu.

In conclusion, the Arewa APC Vanguard vehemently condemns Governor Dauda Lawal’s unwarranted demand for President Bola Tinubu’s resignation. The group firmly believes that such divisive actions only serve to hamper progress and undermine the stability and development of the nation.
