Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa marked the fourth anniversary of his mother’s passing on Tuesday. He shared heartfelt tributes on his Instagram page, posting photos of his mother along with images from her burial ceremony. In his caption, Musa expressed how deeply he misses her, revealing that he thinks about her every day since her demise.

Musa reflected on the significant void her death has left in his life, emphasizing his commitment to making her proud. He wrote, “Dear mum, it’s been four years without you, and not a single day passes without me thinking about you. The void you have left is so evident, but I am grateful because I am doing all I can to make you proud. We all miss you dearly.” He also conveyed his belief that she is in a better place, watching over them, stating, “My confidence is that you are in a better place looking down on us all. I miss you beyond words can express. Rest well, mum.”

Musa lost his mother on January 24, 2019, and he had announced her death on his Twitter page, describing it as “What a sad day of my life. I just lost my mum.”
