Tinubu’s aide, Nweze decries high inflation rate in Nigeria

The Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to the President on Community Development, South East region, Chioma Nweze has expressed worry over the high rate of inflation in Nigeria.

Nweze, who made this known while speaking with newsmen during her visit to Abakalik in Ebonyi State, blamed the sufferings of Nigerians on the inflation rate, currently witnessed in the country.

She revealed the preparedness of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to address such challenges through lots of agricultural programs in the country.

“Coincidentally the level of suffering has increased because of the inflation rate in Nigeria. The communities are our own investment, and the President doesn’t want them to suffer.

“The Presidency has lots of agricultural programs to reach out to the people, so that we can increase the number of food that can be brought to the townships and to other levels, by doing so, it can be addressed.

Nweze further stated her committed efforts to ensure that there is total inclusion of the Southeast region in various agricultural programs of the federal government, adding that such inclusion would help to address the inflation rate in the region.
