Kano Fire Service Saves 20 Lives and N46.7 Million Worth of Property in October

The Kano State Fire Service has displayed its unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property as it successfully rescued 20 individuals and saved property estimated at a staggering N46.7 million during the month of October. These remarkable achievements were made in response to a total of 43 fire incidents that occurred within the state.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Abdullahi, on Monday in Kano, the service’s heroic efforts were commended. Mr. Abdullahi reported that unfortunately, eight lives were lost during the same period due to these infernos, and property valued at N21.6 million was destroyed by the fires.

Notably, the Kano State Fire Service promptly attended to 21 rescue calls and responded to 10 false alarms from concerned residents.
