Iheanacho in the Running for Leicester City Goal of the Month Award

Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, has been shortlisted for the coveted Goal of the Month award for October.

Iheanacho’s nomination comes as a result of his breathtaking strike during the team’s commanding 3-0 victory over Preston North End on October 4. The 27-year-old skillfully swept the ball into the net after a seamless setup by his international teammate, Wilfred Ndidi.

Joining Iheanacho on the shortlist are seasoned forwards Jamie Vardy and Aimee Palmer, who both have two goals nominated for the award. Also vying for the prestigious accolade are Kiernan Dewberry-Hall, Abdul Fatawu, and Harry Winks.

The distinguished winner shall be determined by the fans themselves. To cast their vote for their favorite goal, supporters can visit the official Leicester City website.

It is worth mentioning that Kasey McAteer emerged victorious in September, earning the Goal of the Month award for his exceptional performance.

Voting for the October award will remain open until midnight on Sunday, November 12.
