Zamfara United’s head coach, Alhassan Mohammed, has expressed his expectation of a challenging encounter in their Nigeria National League opening-day clash with Nasarawa United.
The highly-anticipated match is scheduled to take place at the Lafia City Stadium this weekend.
Alhassan emphasized that the Solid Miners would be eager to clinch a victory in the game. However, he reassured that Zamfara United would be well-prepared for the tough opposition.
Speaking to the club’s media, Alhassan stated, βThe game against Nasarawa United is going to be a tight game. Nasarawa United will be aiming to kick-start their NNL campaign with a victory to give their promotion target a boost. We are ready to give our best to secure a win, as we are going to prepare thoroughly for the game.β
The new NNL season is set to commence on Saturday, November 11.
