Samklef Extends Olive Branch to Davido as He Clinches Grammy Nomination

Renowned Nigerian singer and producer, Samuel Oguachuba, famously known as Samklef, has committed to offering prayers for Davido’s triumph in securing his first Grammy nominations, effectively putting an end to their social media feud.

In a video that has since gone viral on his Instagram page, Samklef expressed his congratulations to the artist, saying, “This post is a special post for Davido only! As you don get 3 nominations, I will be praying for you to win all 3. You must win something, for sure. I also admire the fact that you didn’t involve anyone in this. We share something in common. Congratulations once more,” he declared.

Reports from Media Talk Africa reveal that the animosity between the two musicians commenced in October after Samklef, in his congratulatory message, posted a video of Davido and his spouse, Chioma, departing the hospital in Atlanta, USA, with their newly born twins.

In response to this post, Davido, who had not publicly announced the arrival of his twins, admonished Samklef and ultimately blocked him.

Subsequent to this incident, Samklef had taken to social media to call out Davido for allegedly failing to settle a N1 million debt owed to one of his associates, a Mastermind who is a student at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), dating back to 2020.
