Transfer: Nigerian forward, Gopey joins Congolese club, TP Mazembe

Nigeria forward, Stepen Gopey has joined Congo Democratic Republic side, TP Mazembe.

Gopey last featured for Egyptian Premier League outfit, Wadi Degla.

The 23-year-old has been registered by the Lumumbashi club for their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

The striker joined another Nigerian Augustine Oladapo at the former African champions.

Gopey made his name during his time with Nigeria Premier Football League clubs, Rivers United, Wikki Tourists and Lobi Stars.

He has also played for clubs in Kuwait and Ukraine.
