Renowned Nigerian rapper, Oladipupo Oladimeji, widely known as Oladips has emerged to prove to the world that he is very much alive and in good health. This seemingly miraculous turn of events comes after his management had erroneously reported his demise earlier in the month.
The miscommunication began when a statement, purportedly from Oladips’ management, was circulated on his Instagram page on November 15, 2023, declaring the rapper’s passing on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. In the statement, his management attributed the cause of death to a prolonged battle with depression spanning over two years.
However, putting an end to the swirling rumours, Oladips has resurfaced with a video that depicts him enjoying the rhythm of one of his songs, as shared on his Instagram story on Thursday, November 25, 2023. The video, captioned “Proof of life,” serves as a stark contradiction to the earlier claim of his demise.
This compelling development quashes the earlier reports and casts a beam of relief on his fans, who were previously engulfed in grief over the news of his alleged demise.
