AS Roma boss, Jose Mourinho, has named Napoli as the club to win the Serie A title this season.
Mourinho congratulated Napoli, insisting that Luciano Spalletti’s side have already won the Serie A title despite playing only 19 league matches so far this season.
The former Chelsea coach spoke ahead of his side’s Serie A tie with Napoli on Sunday.
Napoli are currently on top of the Serie A table with 50 points from 19 matches.
They are 12 ahead of second-placed AC Milan on the log.
“Congratulations to the people of Naples, the players and Luciano [Spalletti], they have won the Scudetto, and they are worthy winners,” Mourinho said, according to Daily Mail.
“Because of the inconsistency of Inter and AC Milan, and because you sense there is no other team that can go on a six, seven or eight-game winning run, the title is theirs.”
