Billionaire industrialist Rasaq Okoya has a deep fondness for his youngest wife, Shade, a fact that has intrigued many over the years. In addition to her roles as a wife and mother of four, Shade is a successful businesswoman and philanthropist, recognized with numerous awards throughout her career. She studied Banking and Finance at Lagos Polytechnic in Isolo, Lagos, and later earned a degree in Sociology from the University of Lagos. Shade serves as the Managing Director of Eleganza Fashion Products Limited and Eleganza Cruise and Travels Limited, and she holds directorial positions at Eleganza Group and RAO Investment Property Company Limited. Furthermore, she is the Deputy Managing Director of Eleganza Industrial City Limited.

Shade is also actively engaged in philanthropic endeavors, notably sponsoring the Folashade Okoya Kids Cup, which launched its inaugural edition in December 2014 in collaboration with the Lagos State Grassroots Soccer Association. Her contributions to society have earned her various titles, including Bewaji of Lagos, Otun Aare Iyalaje of Ajiranland, Yeye Oge of Epe Land, Ajisewa of Oke Ona Egba, and Patron of the Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria. In recognition of her achievements, European American University awarded Shade an honorary doctorate in Business Management and Corporate Leadership in 2014.

Over the years, Rasaq Okoya has publicly praised Shade for the positive impact she has had on his life, often describing her as hardworking and loyal.
