Kwara United’s Head Coach Kabiru Dogo Given Three-Match Ultimatum by Club Management

Kwara United’s head coach, Kabiru Dogo, has found himself in the hot seat as the club’s management has given him a three-match ultimatum. This decision comes on the heels of the team’s lackluster 0-0 home draw against Niger Tornadoes this past Sunday.

Not only is Dogo under scrutiny, but the ultimatum also extends to the other members of the coaching staff, including Abdulkadir Abolaji and Olaniyi Mukaila, both assistant coaches, and Alao Olaniyi Adeyemi, the goalkeeper trainer.

The draw against Niger Tornadoes adds to a string of less than favorable results, with Kwara United having drawn four out of their seven home games this season.

In an official letter titled “Notification of Three Matches Ultimatum,” dated Monday, December 18, 2023, and signed by the club’s secretary, Wale Obalola, the coaching crew has been tasked with the responsibility of finding a viable solution to the team’s poor performance.

The club’s management has also made a fervent appeal to the team’s ardent supporters, fans, and stakeholders, urging them to continue rallying behind the team. The goal is to bolster the players’ morale and drive them to push forward and vie for the top spot in the league.
