The Failure of APC Government: PDP Slams Governance Across All Levels

In a scathing critique, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has strongly condemned the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as a failed government. The party took to its official platform on Friday, asserting that the APC-led administrations at all levels have fallen short of expectations. However, the PDP contended that its governors have been delivering on their promises and effectively governing their respective states.

The PDP’s statement was prompted by a recent report indicating that Decklar Resources Inc. and Millenium Oil & Gas Company Limited, operators of the Oza oil field, have successfully delivered a total of 75,500 barrels of crude to two modular refineries in Edo State.

In response to this development, the PDP lauded the commencement of oil production and the subsequent delivery of crude to the refineries in Edo State. The party commended Governor Godwin Obaseki for creating an environment conducive to investment, both for local and international companies. The PDP emphasized that this achievement stands as a testament to the governor’s efforts in fostering economic growth and development in the state.

The PDP underscored the disparity between the performance of its governors and that of the APC-led governments, drawing a distinct contrast by asserting that the PDP governors have been diligent in fulfilling their promises as outlined in the party’s manifesto. The party implied that while the APC has faltered, the PDP has upheld its commitment to effective governance, thereby positioning itself as a party focused on delivering tangible results for the populace.
