Vice President Kashim Shettima recently made a solemn vow to tackle the reign of terror in South East Nigeria. Speaking at the launch of the Peace in South East Project (PISE-P) by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, Shettima condemned the actions of self-serving criminals and individuals exploiting the region’s security challenges for their political agenda.
Shettima emphasized President Bola Tinubu’s deep concern for the economic devastation inflicted on the South East by non-state actors, and his determination to utilize all available resources to counter falsehoods and propaganda that threaten Nigeria’s unity.
