Arsenal’s FA Cup Defeat: Keown Laments Three Players for 2-0 Loss to Liverpool

The FA Cup clash saw Arsenal face a bitter 2-0 loss against Liverpool, with Martin Keown, an Arsenal legend, pointing fingers at three key players for the defeat.

Keown attributed Liverpool’s opening goal to an own goal by Jakub Kiwior, who inadvertently directed Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross into the net. Additionally, Keown expressed concerns about the defensive contributions of centre-half Gabriel Magalhães and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, highlighting Ramsdale being slow to react off his line.

During a commentary on BBC One, Keown remarked, “I just wondered if Gabriel could have headed it the other way, he seemed to just collapse. The goalkeeper can’t get to it, Ramsdale is late to move off. Kiowor, I feel he should be doing a lot better. Of course he is not doing that deliberately. But there is always something you can do to improve that.”

The match outcome has stirred debates and concerns about Arsenal’s defensive strategies and individual performances, fueling speculations and reflections within the football community.
