Shooting Stars Coach, Gbenga Ogunbote: Relief as Team Triumphs Over Bayelsa United

Shooting Stars FC head coach Gbenga Ogunbote expressed profound relief following his team’s 1-0 victory against Bayelsa United, marking the end of a challenging six-game winless streak. The team’s spirits were lifted as Kareem Ademola secured the sole goal, marking his fifth this season.

“The truth be said, having gone through six games without a win, definitely, you would expect that the confidence level would have dropped,” Ogunbote articulated. “The confidence level dropped, but all we just wanted was to come back to winning ways and we have been able to get that.”

With this win, Shooting Stars ascended to the 10th position on the table, a testament to their resilience and determination. Looking ahead, the Oluyole Warriors are gearing up for a southwest derby clash against Sporting Lagos on matchday 18 in Lagos.
