Senator Barau Jibrin Pledges Support for Ultramodern Immigration Training School in Bichi, Kano State

In a significant development, Senator Barau Jibrin, the deputy president of the senate, has committed to facilitating the establishment of an ultramodern training school for the Nigerian Immigration Services (NIS) in Bichi, Kano State.

During a courtesy visit by the comptroller-general of the NIS, Wuraola Adepoju, Senator Jibrin assured full support for the establishment of the training school. The senator emphasized the crucial role of the NIS in the country’s security and pledged to oversee the project from inception to completion.

“The NIS plays a vital role in our nation’s security. Therefore, my office will ensure the seamless establishment and equipping of this training school. We are committed to providing top-notch facilities for the training and retraining of NIS personnel,” Senator Jibrin vowed.

The proposed training school is set to enhance the operational efficiency of the NIS and elevate its performance to new heights. Acknowledging the senator’s commitment, Mrs. Adepoju underscored the importance of training in maximizing the potential of technological advancements in border security.
