Former Justice Minister Urges Ondo Politicians to Support Governor Aiyedatiwa’s Governance

Adetokunbo Kayode, a former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, has made a passionate appeal to politicians in Ondo State. Kayode urged them to refrain from undermining Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. He emphasized the importance of allowing the governor to focus on governance without distractions.

Kayode, who also served as Minister of Defence, stressed the need for stakeholders in the state to prioritize peace as the November governorship election approaches. He highlighted the significance of enabling Aiyedatiwa to continue driving the state’s developmental agenda and building on the foundations laid by the late former governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

In addition to advocating for political harmony, Kayode called for immediate attention to the deplorable condition of arterial roads across the state. He urged Aiyedatiwa to prioritize addressing this issue, emphasizing its critical role in enhancing infrastructure and the overall well-being of the state.

“Allow Governor Aiyedatiwa to focus on governance. Let him work for our children and elders, and continue the legacy of our late, beloved governor,” Kayode urged. He cautioned that the state and its people stand to suffer if divisive politics persist, emphasizing that it only leads to pain, poverty, and suffering.

Kayode’s powerful plea serves as a reminder of the necessity for political harmony and unwavering support for effective governance in Ondo State, resonating with the broader imperative of prioritizing development and stability across diverse regions.
