Primate Ayodele: “No Christian or Muslim Heaven, Religion Divides Humanity”

Renowned leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Ayodele, made a thought-provoking declaration, dismissing the existence of Christian or Muslim heavens. In a bold move, he emphasized that religion, a creation of humans, has served as a divisive force among people, causing more harm than good.

Ayodele’s spokesperson, Oluwatosin Osho, revealed the primate’s intention to construct a multi-million naira mosque in Lagos State, signifying a profound shift away from religious ties towards embracing humanity.

Expressing a deep-seated belief in the universality of human connection, Ayodele stated, “I believe there is no religion in heaven, there is nothing like Christian heaven or Muslim heaven.” He drew from the teachings of Jesus Christ, asserting that the core message focused on compassion and love for all, irrespective of religious affiliations.

The primate’s decision to build a mosque, as conveyed by Osho, is rooted in a desire to eradicate the barriers imposed by religion and promote unity. Ayodele’s unwavering commitment to this cause aligns with his perception of Jesus Christ as a model who prioritized love and compassion over religious adherence.

Elaborating on his intentions, Ayodele highlighted that his interactions with Muslim leaders had been met with resounding support for his vision, further reinforcing his commitment to fostering inclusivity and coexistence. He emphasized his dedication to offering the mosque to Muslim leaders without any form of interference, solidifying his genuine pursuit of harmony and mutual respect.

Primate Ayodele’s paradigm-shifting stance transcends the conventional discourse on religion, challenging the ingrained divisions and advocating for a collective embrace of humanity. In a world rife with religious discord, his actions exemplify a compelling pursuit of unity and understanding beyond theological confines.
