Lobi Stars Head Coach Set to Revamp Strategy for NPFL’s Second Leg

Eugene Agagbe, the head coach of Lobi Stars, has unveiled plans for a revamped approach as the team gears up for the second half of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

After clinching the top spot in the NPFL table at the end of the first half of the season, Agagbe expressed gratitude to his team for their outstanding performance and emphasized the need for a fresh perspective moving forward.

“I thank my boys immensely for playing well in this first stanza and ending the phase on top of the log,” Agagbe conveyed to the club’s media. “We will continue to work hard because the second stanza will be a different phase, so we will be coming in with a different approach to strive for improvement compared to the first round.”

With an eye on surpassing their initial performance, Agagbe stressed the importance of the players utilizing the break to rest and recuperate fully. “The players need to make judicious use of the break by resting very well so as to recover fully and return with renewed vigor for the final phase of the season.”

The Pride of Benue’s strategic shift under Agagbe’s leadership sets the stage for an exciting and competitive second leg in the NPFL, as they aim to maintain their lead and elevate their performance to new heights.
