Enyimba Pursues Bernard Ovoke to Bolster Squad

Enyimba Football Club is actively pursuing a deal to sign Bernard Ovoke from Nigeria Premier Football League outfit Kwara United, according to a report by Media Talk Africa. The nine-time NPFL champions have entered into discussions with Ovoke and his representatives, indicating a keen interest in acquiring the talented winger.

In a strategic move, Kwara United omitted the 26-year-old from their squad for the match against Heartland, allowing him to focus on finalizing the potential move to Enyimba. Ovoke, who commenced his stint with Kwara United at the onset of the 2023–24 NPFL season, has notably appeared in 10 NPFL fixtures for the team managed by Kabiru Dogo.

With an impressive track record, the seasoned winger boasts prior stints with Bayelsa United, Lobi Stars, Rivers United, and Plateau United. Notably, Ovoke also ventured abroad for a brief spell with Sevan FC in Armenia, underscoring his experience and versatility on the pitch.

Should the negotiations materialize into a signing, Ovoke’s addition to Enyimba’s roster could significantly enhance the team’s attacking prowess and overall competitive edge. This potential transfer underscores the club’s commitment to reinforcing its squad with top-tier talent as they strive for success in both domestic and international competitions. Stay tuned for further developments on this exciting transfer pursuit.
