Sodiq Tunde Joins Sunshine Stars, Bolsters Team’s Offense

Sunshine Stars have officially signed Sodiq Tunde from Ekiti United, a team in the Nigeria National League. Tunde’s new contract with the Owena Waves extends until the conclusion of the 2023-24 NPFL season. The robust striker showcased his scoring abilities by netting nine goals for Ekiti United during the previous season, and has already scored seven goals in the current campaign.

Tunde’s arrival is anticipated to address Sunshine Stars’ offensive struggles heading into the latter part of the season. As of now, the team stands four points clear of the relegation zone with a total of 22 points. The second half of the NPFL season is set to commence on February 14, 2024.
