Former Yobe State Governor, Bukar Abba Ibrahim, Passes Away at 75

The ex-governor of Yobe State, Bukar Abba Ibrahim, has passed away at the age of 75 in Saudi Arabia after battling a prolonged illness. The announcement was made by Mamman Mohammed, the spokesperson for Governor Mai Mala Buni.

Expressing deep sorrow and sympathy, Governor Buni conveyed the news to the public, adding that the late senator would be laid to rest in Saudi Arabia with the state government overseeing all funeral arrangements to accord the former governor a state burial and honor.

Condolences are to be offered to Governor Mai Mala Buni at the Government House Mosque (Masjid), Damaturu. Governor Buni described the loss as significant for the state and urged the people and friends of Yobe State to unite in prayer for the departed leader’s soul.

The passing of Senator Bukar Abba Ibrahim marks a moment of profound grief for the government and citizens of Yobe State, with Governor Buni requesting prayers for the late ex-governor’s peaceful rest.
