Madiba FC and Ikorodu City have taken the lead in the Nigeria National League’s Southern Conference after the completion of the first stanza. Madiba FC secured a 2-0 victory over Ekiti United, propelling them to the top of Group A with 25 points, followed closely by Beyond Limits at 19 points. In Group B, Ikorodu City claimed the top spot with 18 points, while Inter Lagos holds second place with 17 points.

The competition is fierce at the bottom of the standings, with Vandrezzer, 1472 FC, Stormers FC, Ijebu United, Warri Wolves, and Tradesafe FC battling to avoid relegation from Group A and Group B. Only two teams from each group will qualify for the championship playoffs.
