The captivating semi-final match saw goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, based in South Africa, deliver a stellar performance, ultimately aiding Nigeria in their victory. With the final showdown against the host nation, Ivory Coast, looming, Ferdinand publicly displayed his support by posting images featuring the Nigerian flag and donning the Super Eagles jersey with “Ferdinand 5” emblazoned on it.
