NNPC Reassures Nigerians: No Fuel Price Hike in the Works

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC, has quelled fears by confirming that there are no immediate plans to raise the price of petrol. In a statement on Thursday, NNPC’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, urged Nigerians to dismiss baseless rumors. Soneye emphasized that there are no intentions to increase the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

“Motorists nationwide are advised against engaging in panic buying, as there is presently ample availability of PMS across the country,” he underscored.
