Niger Tornadoes Gear Up for Nigeria Premier Football League’s Second Round

Niger Tornadoes have kicked off their preparations for the upcoming second round of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. The team reconvened at the Bako Kontagora Stadium on Saturday, signaling their return to training.

Caretaker coach Majin Mohammed led the training session, supported by his technical assistants. Prior to this, the team participated in a friendly tour of Abuja, where they faced off against Sporting Supreme, City FC, and Green Lock FC. The tour resulted in a win, draw, and a defeat for Niger Tornadoes.

Looking ahead, Niger Tornadoes are scheduled to compete against Katsina United as the NPFL’s second round gets underway on February 16. With the team back in full swing, fans eagerly await their performance in the upcoming fixtures.
