Tinubu honours Super Eagles with MON award

President Bola Tinubu has awarded the Super Eagles of Nigeria and members of Team Nigeria with the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) national honour for their exceptional performance at the recently concluded AFCON 2023 tournament in Ivory Coast.

Also, they were each presented with a flat and a plot of land in the FCT.

This announcement was made by Dada Olusegun, the special assistant to President Tinubu on Social Media, in a post on his official X page.

He wrote: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu presents the @NGSuperEagles and team Nigeria with their MON award, 1 flat in Nigeria and a plot of Land in the Federal Capital Territory as a sign of gratitude for their service.”
