- Woods is currently on the projected cut line of one-over-par going into Friday
- He bogeyed four holes on the back-nine, including an awful 18th hole shank

Tiger Woods hopped in a golf cart in the middle of the second round of the Genesis Invitational as the 15-time major champion appeared to have issues with his back on Friday.
Woods entered the day hovering around the cut line after shooting a one-over-par 72 round yesterday – punctuated by a hard shank on the 18th hole at Riviera Country Club, which the 48-year-old attributed to a back spasm.
But after appearing to be in visible pain during the second round, cameras saw him hop into a golf cart and drive away.
Woods decided to pay homage to his attire that he wore to his first ever PGA event that he played at this same course back in 1992.
After agreeing to a deal with TaylorMade and launching his own brand – Sun Day Red – Woods showed up to the course wearing a polo with the same pattern and colors from when he was 16-years-old and playing on a sponsors exemption.

Woods missed the cut in that tournament – something that he’s hoping not to replicate.
But he’s in danger of doing just that, with the projected cut line sitting at one-over, the exact score he held going into the second round.
He started off strong, birdieing the par-5 first hole and followed that up with back-to-back pars on holes two and three.
It’s a better start than yesterday, when he birdied the first but bogeyed holes two and three.
Woods began to struggle with his back issues as he bogeyed on the fourth and fifth holes to fall above the cut line.
He carded a par on the sixth hole, but looked to be in visible pain as he walked off the sixth green
With playing partners Gary Woodland and Justin Thomas teed off on the seventh hole, Woods jumped in the cart and drove away. Shortly after, he officially withdrew.
