Kogi State Governor Vows to Uphold Security Measures

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has pledged to continue combating threats to the safety of people and their belongings within the state. On the heels of a closed-door meeting with the chairmen of the 21 Local Government Areas, Governor Ododo emphasized the importance of sustaining the state’s security measures.

Acknowledging the significant success achieved by the previous administration in curbing insecurity, Governor Ododo highlighted the necessity to prioritize the safety of the populace and safeguard the state’s tranquility. He underscored, “We cannot afford to regress from the progress we’ve made in securing our state against individuals seeking to disrupt our collective determination to maintain safety.”

Underscoring the paramount importance of protecting lives and property, the Governor affirmed that his government would exhaust all means to ensure the safety of the people of Kogi State, deeming it an uncompromisable objective. Governor Ododo rallied the local government chairmen to intensify their efforts in securing all communities and maintaining close ties with the residents to gather vital intelligence crucial for government interventions.
