The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended President Bola Tinubu for implementing bold and far-reaching reforms aimed at the nation’s economic recovery, sustainable growth, and prosperity.

Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, emphasized the importance of collaboration and coordination among the three levels of government in a federal system like Nigeria. He urged governors to offer constructive ideas and solutions to governance challenges, while exercising their rights to free speech responsibly.

Morka criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors for making reckless remarks that could incite social upheaval and for shirking their responsibilities as chief executives of their states. He highlighted the need for the governors to focus on improving the living conditions of their citizens, rather than blaming the federal government for their shortcomings.

In response to the PDP governors’ call for Tinubu to resign, Morka suggested that they should practice what they preach and resign from their own offices, rather than passing the buck. He emphasized Tinubu’s commitment to taking responsibility and providing leadership during this challenging period of economic transformation.

Morka appealed to Nigerians for patience, assuring them that the current policies would lead to a more prosperous future as the nation navigates through difficult times.

These statements by the APC underscore the party’s support for Tinubu’s initiatives and its criticism of the PDP governors’ actions, providing insight into the ongoing political dynamics in Nigeria.
