Pep Guardiola Eyeballing International Coaching Role Post-2025 Contract

Pep Guardiola, the renowned manager of Manchester City, has signaled his intention to coach a national team before concluding his career. Despite his existing contract with the Premier League club until 2025, Guardiola has expressed openness to the possibility of extending his tenure. Speculation has previously linked the 53-year-old to managerial positions with Brazil, England, and the United States.

In a recent interview with ESPN Brasil, Guardiola admitted his aspiration to take the helm of a national team for a major tournament. When questioned about his remaining ambitions, Guardiola affirmed, “A national team. I would like to train a national team for a World Cup or a European Championship. I would like that.”

Furthermore, when pressed about his preference for a specific country to coach, Guardiola humbly confessed, “I don’t know who would want me! To work for a national team they have to want you, just like a club.”

This revelation has sparked intrigue and speculation within the football community, as pundits and fans alike anticipate Guardiola’s potential venture into international coaching after his illustrious career in club management.
