Former Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund manager, Thomas Tuchel, has shed light on his decision to part ways with Bayern Munich. The club and Tuchel jointly confirmed their impending separation at the conclusion of the current season. Bayern Munich officially announced their planned departure from Tuchel, citing a recent string of poor performances. Addressing the media on Saturday, the ex-Chelsea boss expressed, “Our inability to consistently elevate the team’s performance led to this mutual decision to go our separate ways in the summer.” Tuchel also reflected on his time at Bayern, stating, “Looking back, questioning the acceptance of the Bayern job serves no purpose. It’s important to remember the significant impact injuries had on our journey.”
