Police Foil Attempted Chaos at Kano Pharmaceutical Market

The Police in Kano State have thwarted an attempt to disrupt peace at the pharmaceutical market as traders relocated to the Kano Economic City. Three suspects were arrested following the incident at Mai-Karami Plaza, Kano.

Commissioner of Police, Hussaini Gumel, disclosed that the culprits tried to create disorder as traders moved to their new market in Dangwauro. Police intervened swiftly, preventing the situation from escalating.

The suspects’ motive was to seize the opportunity and break into shops at the plaza. They are currently in police custody under tight security measures, ensuring the safety of the market relocation process.

Gumel emphasized the deployment of additional police forces to safeguard the transportation of goods to the new market within Kano Economic City. Peace and order prevail as authorities maintain vigilance over the area.
