Former Super Falcons Goalkeeper Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni Dies After Cancer Battle

Former Super Falcons goalkeeper, Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni, has tragically passed away after bravely battling cancer for eight years. The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, expressed their sorrow over her death in a heartfelt post on social media.

In a tweet, the NFF wrote, “We are saddened by the passing of former @NGSuper_Falcons goalkeeper, Bidemi Aluko-Olaseni, after her courageous fight against cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. May her soul rest in peace.”

Aluko-Olaseni was known for her exceptional skills as a goalkeeper during her time with the Super Falcons. She also played for renowned teams such as Rivers Angels and Sunshine Queens.
