Vinicius Oliveira stunned opponent Bernardo Sopaj with a flying knee knockout at UFC Vegas 87.

Despite struggling in the early stages, Oliveira managed to respond and then caught Sopaj’s chin with a flying knee.

Sopaj fell to the floor and was unable to respond after being caught by Oliveira.

The incident happened with just 19 seconds remaining in the third round. 

During his interview with Daniel Cormier after the fight, Oliveira asked for a $50,000 performance of the night bonus.

Oliveira’s accomplishment was made all the more impressive by the fact that he was making his UFC debut.

The bantamweight demonstrated excellent technique and ingenuity as he managed to overcome his opponent.
