Senegal Presidential Election: Candidates’ Visions for Prosperity and Democracy

The presidential election in Senegal is fast approaching, with 19 candidates vying for the top position. As the campaign heats up, each candidate is outlining their plans for the country if they were to win the election on March 24.

Khalifa Ababacar Sall, a candidate of the Khalifa President coalition, is focusing on strengthening the unity of the Senegalese people through his program centered around ‘Human, Water, Earth’. Aliou Mamadou Dia, the candidate of the Union and Rally Party (PUR), shares his vision of a prosperous Senegal built on equity, transparency, unity, and respect for human dignity. He outlines a program focused on developing human capital, building a competitive and sustainable economy, improving governance, and enhancing social protection.
