President Bola Tinubu has recently appointed Dennis Otuaro as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) and Dakorinama George as the director-general of the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA). This decision, announced by Ajuri Ngelale, the special adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, marks a significant development in Nigeria’s governance.
Dennis Otuaro, the new PAP administrator, brings a wealth of experience to the role, with a PhD in Comparative Politics & Development Studies, an MSc in Public Administration, and a BSc in Education. His background includes serving as a top-level executive at the Niger Delta Development Commission, with expertise in infrastructure development, security, environmental remediation, and the oil and gas sector.
On the other hand, Dakorinama George, the newly appointed director-general of the BCDA, holds a PhD in Construction Management, an MSc in Quantity Surveying and Construction Engineering, and a B.Tech in Quantity Surveying. With a strong academic foundation and a history of serving as a former commissioner for works in Rivers State, George is well-equipped to lead the BCDA towards its goals.
