In a recent series of operations conducted in Borno and Katsina states, the Nigerian Army, alongside Hybrid forces, successfully eliminated three terrorists. The collaborative effort also led to the recovery of rustled cattle and weapons from the terrorists.

According to a statement released by the Nigerian Army, the troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce gun battle and emerged victorious. In Borno State, one terrorist was neutralized, and arms, ammunition, and rustled cattle were recovered during a clearance operation in the Gori general area of Gwoza Local Government Area.

Additionally, in Katsina State, two terrorists were killed in Garin Rinji general area in Batsari Local Government Area. The troops displayed superior firepower, destroyed hideouts, and recovered motorcycles and rustled livestock during the operation.

The Defence Headquarters reported that a total of 106 terrorists were killed and 103 were arrested across the northern region of the country in recent weeks.

These successful operations demonstrate the commitment of the Nigerian Army and Hybrid forces to combatting terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of the region. The troops continue to engage in offensive operations to eliminate terrorists and restore peace to the affected areas.
