Manchester City Injury Update: Stones and Walker Out for Arsenal Clash

Manchester City’s head coach, Pep Guardiola, has provided an update on injuries ahead of the highly anticipated match against Arsenal this Sunday in the Premier League.

Unfortunately, defenders John Stones and Kyle Walker, who both sustained injuries while on international duty with England, will not be available for selection. Guardiola confirmed that the two players missed training on Thursday and are ruled out for the upcoming game.

Despite the setbacks, Guardiola remains optimistic about his team’s performance, stating, “It is what it is. We played really well over the last month, and even though we have some key players out, we are prepared for the game against Arsenal.”

On a positive note, Guardiola mentioned that goalkeeper Ederson is in much better condition and is expected to be fit for the match. Additionally, he confirmed that Akanji is ready to play against Arsenal, providing some relief for the team’s defensive line.

As City prepares to face Arsenal, Guardiola’s injury updates will undoubtedly impact the team’s strategy and lineup for the crucial match. Stay tuned for more updates as the game approaches.
