Ondo State Organisation Exposes Fraudulent Use of President Tinubu’s Name in APC Primaries

The Ondo State Organisation for Due Diligence has sounded the alarm on the deceptive tactics being employed by certain factions within the All Progressives Congress (APC) to manipulate support for a particular aspirant in the upcoming primaries. These political opportunists have been falsely claiming to have the endorsement of President Bola Tinubu, in an attempt to gain an unfair advantage ahead of the crucial party elections on April 20.

In a strongly worded statement released by the group’s chairman, Samuel Aderinola, and secretary, Adefemi Babatunde, they condemned the actions of these cabals who are using the President’s name to deceive both the aspirants and the people of Ondo State. The group emphasized the importance of upholding democratic ideals and ensuring that the people have the freedom to choose their leaders without manipulation or coercion.

The group highlighted President Tinubu’s commitment to democracy by referencing the recent primary election in Edo State, where a transparent and fair process was conducted to select the APC candidate for the gubernatorial election. They warned against the destructive impact of allowing political merchants to undermine the democratic process and called for transparency and integrity in the upcoming primaries in Ondo State.

It is imperative that the voices of the people are heard and respected, without interference from self-serving individuals seeking to advance their own agendas. The Ondo State Organisation for Due Diligence remains vigilant in exposing any attempts to subvert the democratic process and will continue to advocate for a free and fair electoral system in the state.
